As I write these words to you I feel such a sense of urgency and expectation because I am soon to release my brand new book Get Out of Your Rut: From Stagnant to Breakthrough! Over the years, within prophetic ministry and even within my own personal life, what I've continued to find is that, more and more, there seems to be confusion about how to actually move forward. Having a dream or a vision or even a desire is one thing; however, how does one actually move toward the manifestation they've been promised? In other words, once someone is given an actual promise or the realization of a dream for a more rich and abundant life, how does one get from "Point A" to "Point B?"

Philippians 4:8 NIV We understand that we should keep our thoughts on what is good, but sometimes our mindset needs a little help getting there.

Recently my dad was speaking with me about his work. He was fixing a machine that no one else could fix, but he told me, "It wasn't that no one else knew how to fix it. It was an easy fix. The others were misdiagnosing the situation. When you know what you're dealing with, the rest is easy. But if you're thinking the wrong thing, you actually do more damage." Later, as I read my Bible, the story of Jesus walking on the waves came up. This time it was my Heavenly Father who started speaking to me about His work. As Jesus approached the disciples in Matthew 14, there was a serious case of misdiagnosis.

God is always up to doing new things. It is His nature to do something new. He is LIFE. Because of this all things are fresh and new that flow from the throne of God. He has the power to make all things new for you. Revelation 21:5 "Then He who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new.' And He said to me, 'Write, for these words are true and faithful.'" In Christ we've been made "new creations," God in His grace and mercy gave us new birth by the Holy Spirit. That is why Jesus said that we must be "born again" – born of the Spirit or born of above. We have been made alive to God and dead to sin as we have become part of His family.

That which is giving way—that which is crumbling—that which seems to be falling apart—is not doing so simply because of man's sin or the enemy's attacks. These seismic shifts that are occurring in the landscape of our culture are happening because there is a river that is flowing stronger and stronger in the land. It is the river of the Spirit of God. It is a movement of supernatural life, vision and purpose that is flowing stronger and stronger from heaven's high places because of the hunger-filled prayers of His people. It is alive and active, coming in full force, eroding all that is of the flesh and refining all that is of the Spirit.

The Lord has been showing me for many years that He is raising up a generation who will not tolerate mundane Christianity. They are radical, extreme and fierce in their faith. They will not settle for less than the inevitable supernatural intervention of God. I was so blessed to be able to attend a conference last weekend and witness this powerful move of God. I watched as the younger generation worshiped with total abandon and ministered with zeal and a powerful anointing. The Holy Spirit moved in a mighty way.

I once heard a testimony where the Holy Ghost was falling upon the people during worship. The preacher testified how the piano player got so filled with the Spirit that she fell off of the piano bench, and the piano kept right on playing! No other explanation could be found except, "Jesus knows how to play a piano!" I believe we are entering into a time and place of worship and praise where we will experience some unusual anointings upon musical instruments that will be played, at times, with heavenly fingers, either through His people, and sometimes without them.

Why do we sometimes dream the same dream over and over? The main reason dreams reoccur is that we have not entered into the understanding of the message yet. So the same dream message continues to play over and over. Sometimes the characters change or the setting changes, but the overall message remains the same. Once we come into the understanding and we apply the wisdom and insight of the dream's meaning to our lives the dream will cease to replay. Oftentimes, through recurring dreams, God is trying to communicate something.

I'll never forget the first time I experienced the prophetic anointing. I was a freshman in college. We were having a prayer meeting in one of the dorm rooms. As we were holding hands in a circle praying, it felt like someone through a blanket over my head. The feeling was so real I opened my eyes. There was no blanket, but I still felt the sensation. I was experiencing a prophetic mantle for the first time. As I looked around the room I knew things about each person. As I shared what God was showing me each one was deeply ministered to as God spoke to the secrets of their hearts.
