I have come to set the captives free from the spirit of religion and tradition so that they can enter into all that I called them to be and do concerning the Kingdom. Many do not even understand their calling or all that I am doing in this new season. They have given ear to all the naysayers and religious hypocrites and now cannot discern the truth from the lies. Once you give ear to the spirit of darkness it works like a cancer. It is the same way with criticism and gossip. It ends up that they see fault in everything and then spread it around. I say to you repent. Watch out for whom you listen to and what you watch because the enemy twists the truth. He has ways that make these things appear to be truth. Walk not by what you see or hear in the natural but walk by My spirit.
The Lord showed me a basket of mixed nuts in their shells. There were a large variety such as pecans, Brazil nuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts, almonds, pistachio nuts and others that were unfamiliar to me. Some of them were slightly peeled open, some had soft shells that were easy to crack, while others were in hard shells which were more difficult to break open. The Lord is showing me that He wants to release us out of the confinements that we are entrapped in, and anything that is holding us in bondage. As we will soon be coming into a new year, Jesus wants to release us from these things so that we will be free to enter into the New Year with all that He has available for us.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 The Word of God says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Now, what is the kingdom of God? The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 14:17 that the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but "righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." When you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and pursue the kingdom of God, which is Jesus' righteousness, His peace and His joy, God's Word promises that "all these things" will be added to you.
God is going to bring the breakthrough all the way through. "Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies" (Psalms 60:12).Let's declare the words of David from Psalms: 68:1, "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let those also who hate Him flee before Him."But let's not forget that simultaneously, as God brings the breakthrough, He wants to train our hands for war and our fingers for battle (Psalms 144:1). "He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze" (Psalms 18:34). As we allow God to train us in warfare we'll be wearing those "robes of authority for those who overcome."
Every year since 2013, God has given me a word for the year. The word for 2018 was "humility." That word has come alive in a soft and gentle way for me this year and has given me an even more solid foundation to go forward into 2019. In 2019, God is changing things up giving me three words. This will be a year of deeper clarity as I learn more about vision, insight and discernment. When He gave me these three words, I assumed one of them was the word and others were descriptive of that one. However, the more I study these words, the more I realize they define a process. Throughout this year I hope to have much more clarity about this process, but here is where I am starting.
You know that when you bake a cake, you take a number of different ingredients and combine them and then take that soupy mix and put it into a pan and into the hot oven and it changes - into a cake texture. We like that! And if you are hungry for a home cooked pizza, you prepare it from scratch, or you get one that is not cooked from the freezer and you put that in the oven - and it changes form. If you don't put it in the oven, it's not going to taste good or right at all and it's not healthy and you are going to feel sick! No, you need it to change forms. People are changing forms! You see it from the womb to birth, to childhood, to teens, young adults, older adults and to aged adults. There are many processes going on!
You are being given the opportunity to create the life you desire in 2019. Why not begin to create a life that truly reflects what you desire? As we enter into what is bound to be a year of unprecedented change and seismic shift within the Kingdom, I want to begin by first taking the time to wish you and yours a very happy and prosperous New Year. There are many Apostles and Prophets calling for revival. There seems to be a recognizable shift in the spiritual atmosphere, and these anointed generals are sensing a coming awakening that will far surpass the revivals of times past. We are in a unique time of history ripe for a mighty move of the Father's Spirit. Unique times are prime for a unique revival, and the coming revival will not be a passing fad but a sustained, progressive movement of the Kingdom. There are a few reasons why this is true. First, the world is confused about its identity. We see this all around us. From fatherless children to gender fluidity, the world is hungry for solid identity.
The whole month of December, God was leading us all to go deeper in Him because this January 2019 will be a time of consecration and setting apart for God's work in 2019. Then in February 2019, we will watch God fling wide the doors of opportunity for us as we have been prepared with a new and fresh anointing that was cultivated in our tears in December and our purification in January 2019. On Dec. 25, Christmas morning, God woke me up with His overwhelming presence and a blanket of covering, and He said the word, "Righteousness." I knew that the whole month of weeping and tears as in the valley of Baca (Ps. 84) had been Him setting me up to understand how this key was going to be important in 2019.
There is an invitation being issued from heaven to those who are pursuing the tangible evidence of God's kingdom at work on the earth. The Holy Spirit is exhorting the church to come up higher, not just in prayer, but in practical application of the principles we hold dear. This invitation especially goes out to leaders who are being called up higher in their role of demonstrating the realities of sonship and kingdom authority. Through a series of dreams in recent months, the Lord has highlighted several ways in which we as believers can partner with heaven in the fulfillment of God's plan in this kingdom age. His desire is to release the fullness of heaven's presence, power and reign to a world walking in darkness.
