People are talking about "the shift" as if it is the latest new fad, but it is seriously more than that. Many things have changed, and many have cried out in the past for a grace of "a little more time" and God has granted that. But others know that things have changed and in many places the foundations have already shifted and there is really more to come. Many have been crying out that structures are not what they used to be, nor what they should be.
Over the past few days I have felt the Lord's heart strongly for those who are now stepping into the 'new things' the Lord has opened before them. This is a season of incredible promotion and divine surprises. There are many new avenues, new pathways, new doors and new blueprints, but in the release of the "new things" God is releasing and leading His people into, I saw many feeling pressure, overwhelmed and even some fear. If that's you, this word is for you.
"Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it." (Hebrews 4:1-2 NKJV) The good news of Christ was preached prophetically to those in Moses day when they wandered in the wilderness – although it did not profit them because of a lack of faith. Just as David saw prophetically that Christ would come to lay down His life as the Lamb of God.
Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8 We all know the story of Joseph. How he was sold into slavery by his own brothers and separated from his father and family at the young age of seventeen. Then, in Egypt he was unjustly accused and thrown into prison. But through it all (thirteen years) God was with him, maturing him while preparing and positioning him to become the number two man to the most powerful king on earth at that time.
As Christians we so often wonder when going through trials and tribulations, what have I done? Why Lord is this happening? The scripture that the Lord has comforted me with recently is: Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
It's time to go to a new level of the anointing in your life! You were never meant to plateau or stay at one level. This is an upward call in Christ Jesus. We are designed by God to continually go higher and higher. From glory to glory, breakthrough to breakthrough, anointing to anointing. It's time. God wants to release a fresh anointing on your life. You can experience an increase in the gifts God has given you and see the anointing He has trusted you with go to a new level.
A few years ago, I heard a preacher tell a roomful of ministers that they couldn't work miracles or exercise apostolic authority unless they used the word "apostle" as a title. So some of them ran out and printed new business cards—as if putting the word in front of their names were the magic ticket to reclaiming New Testament power. That was a bad idea. For the past two decades or more, thousands of people have been wounded and countless churches have nosedived because immature leaders thought they could gain apostolic status the easy way. We are so eager to qualify ourselves that we forget God alone calls, prepares and sends true apostles.
I believe there are twenty-five monumental scribal shifts underway in the apostolic-prophetic scribal community. While some of these spiritual movements are taking place, I believe the Lord is revealing that the frequency, saturation and global visibility of them is coming forth intentionally for this segment of the congregation. In the list below, I've included eleven emerging shifts from that list in this arena.
There is a book in the bible about a man named Job. He was a blameless and upright man who had experienced a great loss in every area of his life. Although he went through a horrendous trial for some time, he did not become angry or resentful. The book of Job chapter 42:10–16 tells us that after Job had prayed for his friends the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job said during this trying time that he would come forth as gold because he knew that he didn't do anything to deserve such an injustice.
As we enter into this new month and approach the new Hebrew year 5779, God showed me the image of someone holding a journal of all the words God had given to him/her. The people represented by this person had shed many tears in the past over what were perceived as lost promises. Words had appeared in bits and pieces but never come to pass. As the page was turned (just as the page is being turned with this new month and year), a full page of bold writing was revealed, containing not only the words seen before, but the full meaning and context.
