Prophetic scribes MUST teach if the material released to them is instructional in nature. As we teach extensively in The School of the Scribe, the ancient anointing of the prophetic scribe is often rooted in the calling of a teacher. As many know, teachers are OCD concerning helping others understand. The prophetic teacher, however, is driven in this area especially if they have developed their own curriculum, bible studies, or specific prophetic messages through blogs, books, etc. If you are beginning in ministry or stand on the cusps of your next level, teaching live or in person becomes an oil to The Scribal Anointing upon your life.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Our prayer life is the central element of our walk with God. It is our communication with God. It is communion with God. Prayer is never meant to become mechanical, but is to flow back and forth between our heart and the heart of God. This is the life flow of being connected with His Spirit. God is so gracious in desiring to help us in every way. He is a good Father to us. His grace has no limitation. He gently calls us into that place of communion with Him.
Many believers are discouraged. Especially right now. Some tell me that they are tired and want to give up! If things have slowed down for you, one of the fastest ways to recover is to continue being a giver. If you believe you are poor, no matter how much money you ever make, you will always continue to be poor - because you have a poor mentality. Remember, your awareness defines your Being. (As you think in your heart, so it is). It is all about being-ness. Giving demonstrates the Gospel of love. Should you still give? Yes. Even more. Contrary to a whole lot of prophetilizing words, God is NOT "about to" or "fixing'" to bring you or me money. He isn't. He already did!
I hear the Lord petitioning His people to come alone with Him to a place of abiding in His presence as the Hebrew Year 5779 is fast approaching. The opportunity to participate in miracles, healing and revelation knowledge is coming forth in dramatic ways as God's fall festivals approach starting with Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 9-11, 2018. In order for this supernatural move to happen, the Lord reminded me that we must pull ourselves away and get into a quiet place with Him where we are forsaking all others and idols that are drawing us away from Him.
I saw in an open vision encounter during midday an awakening angel dressed in the most beautiful sapphire blue garment and the most brilliant white light (Zechariah 4:1). I heard, "It's time to awaken the sleeping giant - the church." "Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from the dead and the Anointed One will shine his light into you!" (Ephesians 5:14 PT) This angel of awakening was to wake up the sleeping church to the reality that we can have as much of heaven and Jesus as we want now - unlimited access. There is an invitation to step into the current moving and new sound of revival. There is a new season of revival, awakening, movement, and harvest upon us. We are at a tipping point for this new season of outpouring!
This is the writing the Lord gave me this week. There was a man on Christian Dating web site that said the Japanese said a wife is like a vine wrapped around a tree. (A picture of marriage) The tree the man, the vine the woman, she is wrapped around him making him look beautiful. But the Lord said no, same species man and woman, and gave me this vision and writing.
There are seven promises in Revelation 2 and 3 to overcomers. The Greek work is nikao, which means to subdue. Gen 1:28 immediately comes to mind where Adam is given the commission to multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it. In Hebrew subdue is kabosh. Rev 2:7 – "to him who overcomes will I give"... 7 things. G3529 (nikao) = Subdue. Gen 1:28 – "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it." (kabash). Subdue = H3533 (kabash) tread down, conquer, subjugate. As sons we have a Father who wants us to put the kabosh on enemy strategies first and then give us some amazing promises second. I want to know how!
"And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in Him and in Moses His servant." Exodus 14:31 What makes an effective Christian leader today? Is it charisma? Is it ability? Is it communication and oratory skills? God's view of an effective leader has nothing to do with these qualities. They may be a part of an effective leader. However, the core attribute of a Christian leader is his integrity with God and his obedience to follow Him.
All my life I've heard people make up excuses for missing church. Long before funny memes were invented for social media, absentee churchgoers joked about attending "Bedside Baptist," "Church of the Holy Comforter" or "Church of the Inner Springs" to imply that they decided to sleep in on Sunday morning. I'm not going to condemn anyone for taking a week off from church if they are overly tired, going on vacation or hosting company. But today we have a growing subset of Christians who have developed a complex theology of church delinquency.
Sometimes even before the honeymoon is over, it seems "the world, the flesh and the devil" are conspiring to destroy your marriage. Contemporary culture seems especially aligned against long-term healthy marriages. So if you want yours to be the exception, you will need to learn to fight for your marriage. Fighting for your marriage is different than fighting your spouse. You and your spouse are both sinners, but seeing your spouse as the enemy will expedite the deterioration of your relationship. Choose to look behind the frustrations and conflict to the true enemy—Satan and his kingdom of darkness.
