Do you know those phone calls you dread to receive? The person on the other end tells you your worst fear has come true, your loved one has passed, your company is shutting the doors. A pit opens in your stomach, and you feel yourself falling into the black hole of despair. I will never forget one of the stupidest things I did as a teenager that resulted in my parents receiving one of those phone calls. "Mr. Butler, this is the Hoover Police [long, unnecessary pause for dramatic effect]. I have your son, Chase, here with me now."
Today is the day the Lord has made and we are to rejoice and be glad no matter what the circumstance that we face knowing that it all will work together for our good.  If we are not in open rebellion or in willful sin, then God promises good to come through our trials and tribulations conforming us into the image of His son. The Lord orders the steps of the righteous. No matter what you may be going through God is in it.  The enemy cannot do anything without God allowing it.  Just like with Job the enemy had to go before the Throne of God to ask permission before he could touch Job or anything to do with his life.
Many people have been crying out to God and praying for revival! Did you know that revival comes when we first experience God in our own lives? As we experience our own personal revival, it will overflow and change those around us. When they see our lives filled with hearing God, healing, supernatural encounters and love, they will want what we have. As we experience our own personal revival, it will overflow and change those around us. This happened to me and the results were astounding. I was struggling to get a breakthrough and was not seeing the fullness of God in my life. Then the Lord gave me a strategy that seemed too simple to be true.
The other day the Lord showed me a picture of a lioness nursing her cubs. I understood immediately that He was showing me that He is raising up women as well as men to be mentors to the next generation. Some of you are being groomed for ministry to nurture the younger believers into the calling that the Lord has for them. Those of you who are grounded in the word, know how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and are able to discern that which is spiritual from that which is carnal, will mentor these young cubs.
In my last post I talked about balance and today I want to talk about structure, and the importance of it.  As I mentioned in my last post, my writings are taking a slight shift.  I want you to begin to see how you can take the things that we learn in the spiritual realm, the talents and gifts that God gives us, and apply them to our natural world.  How can we take these things and use what God has given us to be successful in our everyday natural world? Being structured is key to finding and keeping balance in your life.  You're working in business, yet you have a call for ministry, like me, and you must balance those two parts of your life.  You're called to have your feet in both worlds.  Defining a structure will help you to do this and be successful.
Over the past few years I have been hearing the Lord decreeing the "NEW DAY" that was coming. Over a year ago I had a dream and I heard liberty bells ringing loudly and the Lord decreed loudly in my dream, "Lana, it is not the end of a season, it's the end of an era. It's coming! It's the beginning of a completely new era" and I woke up with such a strong sense of a new era was coming for the Church. I believe that we have now entered as the body of Christ into this "new era" that the Lord has been speaking about. We are now going to see this "new era" manifest in so many amazing ways, it is going to be incredible what the Lord is going to do.
Our pursuit of God plays a key role in getting us recognized by God. God's love is there for everyone, (John 3:16) in this sense God recognizes everyone, but being used in His Kingdom is a different story. (Luke 9:62) Imagine a radar, picture it in your mind, where you see the blips on that green screen where something is detected in a certain scope or sphere. This is a picture of how we are also recognized and detected on God's all seeing radar. The eyes of the Lord search throughout the earth looking. (2 Chron. 16:9) Why does He have to search? Because not everyone is searching for Him. Not everyone is seeking His interests, but their own. God is looking for a true hunger and thirst for righteousness in our hearts.
This is the season of the biblical sage among my people. I am shining my light on those sons who have supernaturally received "spiritual apostolic doctorates" through 20, 30 and 40 years of study without ceasing in the metrons to which they have been assigned. This generation, this population of people is the sages of their day, WISE MEN that I have raised up who have maximized academics through self-study and revelatory understanding through their time with me.
Have you ever had Holy Spirit speak something to you that did not make sense at the time, but later it was evidently a crystal-clear word from the Lord? It happened to me a few weeks ago as I was going about my day. I was not thinking about swords, or any weapon for that matter, and I heard the Lord say to me, "Don't take the edge off My sword." I tucked it away in my memory, and it was not until the next day that I realized what He was trying to say. Though I recognize this applies to the entire body of Christ, I want to address the prophetic voices in this hour, the prophets.
The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves."  Elisha replied to her, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" "Your servant has nothing there at all," she said, "except a small jar of olive oil."
