In February 2018, I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day when before me a massive ancient lock appeared suspended in the air. The Holy Spirit invited me to enter in through the skeleton key opening on the front of the lock. When I approached the keyhole, it was like a large arched entryway into a castle or fortress. It was plenty big enough for me to walk into it. The giant arched walkway led into the intricate inner workings of the lock. I realized that my body and presence were being used as keys to gain entrance into the depths of the giant lock.

We are living in extreme times as the world is living in extreme behavior, and now is the time for the body of Christ to rise up and come out of passive and lukewarm Christianity. Throughout the bible we read about radical men and women who were used mightily by God. Joseph was sold as a slave, tested and tried but stood steadfast until the word of the Lord came to pass. Pharaoh assigned him to be Vizier, which is the highest official in Ancient Egypt. (Psalm 105:19) Moses parted the Red Sea with a rod and the Israelites crossed over on dry ground but Pharoah and his army drowned as they tried to pursue them.

Comparison is a trap. You were created uniquely. The world needs your flavor of leadership. We don't need one more TD Jakes. We already have one, and he's killing it. We need a you. You carry something unique. The world is waiting on you to release what God has packed on the inside of you, whether that be your sermons, your books, your art, or some other kind of ability that God gifted you with. I want to share with you a little story.

There's a saying that goes like, "Be nice to everyone you meet, because everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about." I was reminded of this in one of the cathedrals we toured in Ireland when I stumbled upon a prayer book written by people passing through from all over the world. Two recent entries in particular stood out to me. I'm assuming they were written by a couple that was there together. The first read, "Lord, help us find the faith we've lost, and help us help others do the same."

On a regular day in September of 2016, I was sitting at my laptop, working on a writing project, when I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of Jesus come into the room. He started talking to me about the value of giving all of myself to Him and He called it "an act of living worship." He went on to say while I had given Him most of me there were still a few places I hadn't. He said He wanted everything, including the weary and bruised places, as well as the unknown ones.

Every Sunday morning on my Facebook page I ask a question such as, "What's your Scripture verse for today?" Most every time, I get some version of this verse. "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope'" (Jer. 29:11). It's no wonder that this verse is one of the most popular in today's culture. Google searches for Jeremiah 29:11 began to rise in November 2008 and has continued as Christians and the general population at large sees a need for a touch point. It is comforting to know that whatever happens, God has a plan for us.

I flew to New York recently on an early flight for ministry and went to check in at a hotel at 6:45 a.m. The person at the counter said, "You are too early for a normal room. We are going to give you an upgraded suite and not charge any extra for it."

Jesus gave the apostles (delegated) authority. He said, "As the Father has sent me, so send I you (plural)." The first level of authority in the church began with the apostle. Jesus continuously taught them about real life and real situations. He demonstrated authority to them so that they could become the vehicle to bring forth the Message of the Kingdom (Mat. 10). And He taught them how to lead with authority by serving them ("But I've taken my place among you as the One who serves" Lk. 22:24). They were taught from the beginning to not showboat – but to serve others graciously.

One time when I returned from healing revival meetings in Whitehorse, Yukon; I was ministering in the Abbotsford Revival Center and in worship that morning, the Holy Spirit brought me back to a prophetic word that I had given in the Whitehorse meetings. God began to speak to me about the coming healing revival in North America. In worship that morning I was caught up in the Spirit and I saw many rain clouds individually set up over many churches and ministries across the States and Canada pouring down rain.

You may have heard it said that there is too much of an emphasis on "consciousness" within the Body of Christ at the present. The thought I've seen being expressed is that there were things being misconstrued and it was becoming self–focused and idolatrous self-exaltation. In some cases, I'm sure that is true. Where there is truth being emphasized, error will always try to creep in to skew it. Although, anytime there is an emphasis in a certain area where long tenured beliefs are being challenged or enhanced, we must look to see where our Lord is in it. We cannot fear the things God speaks because of the language being used and yet follow Him in the forefront of what He is establishing. Realignment often comes being imposed and yet pondered.
