We are able to access the eternal spiritual realm through the Holy Spirit who connects us to Jesus. He is the Living Word of God. Jesus Christ is the only God-given door that we enter into through prayer, meditation, praise and worship, dreams and vision. Jesus, the Anointed One, is the only God who has been raised from the dead. Jesus was raised from the slumber of death, becoming the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep or died. We know that death entered the world through the physical body of Adam when he sinned, so it took the spiritual body of the perfect man Jesus to make the resurrection of the dead a reality for us.
"You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace" (Song of Solomon 4:9). Why do I believe what I believe? It can be summed up in one word — "relationship." It's not about slavishly following an extensive list of authoritarian rules lest I anger God. It's all about knowing Him personally and wanting to please Him. The religious leaders in Jesus' day firmly claimed to know God, but killed Jesus when He came to rescue humankind.

There are three kinds of grace that operate in the life of every believer—saving grace, sanctifying grace and serving grace. All three come from God and are essential for the Christian life and for end-time service in the kingdom of God. Saving grace comes to you when you first hear the gospel and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ by faith. In Ephesians 2 and verse 8, the apostle Paul writes: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God…."
As I drove home from church yesterday, Michael W Smith sang "I lift my eyes...I look to the horizon now." At that exact moment my eyes met the word "horizon" printed on the back of the truck in front of me. I felt God pressing me to seek Him more about this word. In my quiet time the next morning, I asked Him to reveal more to me about horizons and did a little digging. "The horizon or skyline is the apparent line that separates earth from sky, the line that divides all visible directions into two categories: those that intersect the Earth's surface, and those that do not." Hebrews 1:7 "Of the angels He says, 'He makes His angels spirits, and His servants a flame of fire.'" Did you know that you have the ability to create an atmosphere around you? Through your praise and worship to God – vocalizing your thanksgiving and adoration to the Lord you create the atmosphere of heaven. In heaven there is a continual flow of praise to God going on at all times. When you begin to enter into that realm of worship you are drawing heaven to earth. Once I had a dream where the Lord showed me that our vocalized worship is much more powerful than all the decrees, prayers and other activities that we can engage in because it draws the angels of God. The angels of God are also engaged in worship continually. This is the atmosphere that ignites and empowers them to aid the saints here on earth – to give breakthrough and help to us.
So often in life we strive and are so consumed with figuring God out that our urgency and anxiety actually causes us to miss him. For example over the years I have spent many quiet times in the mornings doing anything and everything but being quiet. During these times my prayers have been noble and centered on the usual requests for things and ways in which I wanted God to show up and show me, yet all I heard was silence. For some years now I have chosen to spend more of my time silent. You see, remaining quiet has helped me to center myself and be present and most importantly aware of what he wants to do with and in me on any given moment. It has helped me to relax my perspective and shift my attention to begin to understand which is the language that God uses most of the time he speaks to us.
The Lord spoke to me recently that He is uncovering the "hiding places" of the enemy. I had a vision and I saw Jesus moving into different areas in the lives of believers and different circumstances and He was carrying a torch and shining the light on those areas and suddenly the enemy was being exposed. As He held the torch I heard two Scriptures: "But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won't speak His own message, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come." - John 16:13 (The Passion Translation) "Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105 (Christian Standard Bible)
The word "agent" is defined as "a person who acts on behalf of another person or group" and "a person or thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect" (such as an agent of change). There are agents representing two different kingdoms at work in this world. Whether we realize it or not, there is constant conflict between the kingdom of God and Satan's kingdom, and we are caught in the middle. We may not see the actual spiritual forces battling and competing for the lives of people, but we can see the results. And it is becoming more and more apparent that the forces of evil are controlling more and more people who are yielding to darkness. Those of us in the light are standing out more and more also, as the darkness grows greater, our light, the light of Christ glows as a beacon.
