Understanding the new creation reality is so vital to an overcoming Christian life. If you don't know who you really are, you can never experience the fullness of abundant life in Christ. We've heard it preached our entire Christian lives, "You are a new creation! Old things have passed away and all things have become new!" But do we really understand what this means? When we come to Christ, does God just make us better versions of ourselves? Or does something much more profound happen?
Once again the Lord has placed this dream upon my heart. For the majority of this year, the Holy Spirit has been drawing me back and back again to this dream that I had nearly eight years ago. He spoke to me this morning and told me it's time to address it and display it to His Body once again. There is a particular emphasis on a specific portion of the dream that He wants me to highlight to disclose the hour we are in. He has been ministering to my spirit that we have just walked through the dryness of the pool water being drained, and we are indeed at the very brink of the ocean water spilling in with the great force of His Spirit.
Christians have been in a classroom controversy ever since many of them got saved. It is a controversy they have not been able to identify, but they know they are in it. Words escape many Christians as they seek to explain the challenges they are facing, so they blame one thing or another. However, the reality is, everyone who calls themselves a Christian has been, is or will be in a classroom controversy. The controversy is this: Why is what I am reading in the Word of God, hearing from the pulpits of churches and seeing in my personal life, not matching the promises given from a good Father?
As long as we live, we will have opportunities every day to "choose" to overcome the obstacles set in our path or to become apathetic, bored and disinterested in spiritual things. We can choose to draw near and soak in His presence, basking intimately in the manifest presence of God, sharing our deepest heart needs, or we can choose to give up, walking away, to become lukewarm and fainthearted, having lost our first love. If we fall in love with Him again, we will be able to endure and choose obedience, so that we can be His overcoming bride in the kingdom. Even as Adam and Eve had the power to choose so do we in this life.
Heavenly Father I speak to the seed. I say grow seeds. Flourish! I speak to the seed that it was snatched away by the evil one because they did not understand, more seed will be sown and it will not be snatched away they will understand! It will stay in your heart! Evil one cease and desist because you cannot steal what is not yours, what belongs to the King of the harvest!
King David was called and chosen as a young shepherd boy. He fought the lion and the bear and slayed Goliath when no one else was able to do so. He had been through many battles but he always came out victorious. He was a leader as well as a poet and musician. He was a warrior but also a man after Gods own heart. There was a time when David was running from Saul, and the Lord sent him to the cave of Adullam. There were four hundred men in this cave who were in distress, in debt and discontented.
While I was in the USA the Lord spoke to me about the visitation of a REVIVAL ANGEL that is being released across the earth that is marking the season we are in. We are in a season of revival and it is beginning to build and sweep across the earth. The Lord was certainly highlighting the magnitude of the revival that will be seen on a global scale, yet I felt a real emphasis from the Lord on the body of Christ and individuals. As I sat with the Lord pondering what He spoke about this angel of revival, I was surrounded by the need for reviving, refreshment and rejuvenation within the body of Christ.
One of the greatest blessings within the body of Christ today is the creativity of our God — the ability to come up with ideas, concepts, style, and divine flavor that others without Christ do not have. For the unbeliever, it's there — but not tapped to its fullest potential yet. It's like an undiscovered well resting quietly under the sands of a scorching desert. For the believer, the sands are uncovered, the cap has been removed, and that which was once hidden is now revealed through us to bring an all-sufficient well of life to those lost and roaming within the unconfined borders of an endless desert.
One time in a dream God has let me hear his real voice. God's real voice is like nothing else that I ever have felt or heard. There was so much power in His voice; his voice was neither male nor female sounding it was almost like a computer or robot voice having a neutral tone to it. There was such power in his voice when He spoke, it shook everything and everything moved. It wasn't like an earthquake; it was like everything including the air itself was being electrocuted.
We don't always feel like our true identity. Our past, our present, our struggles, and our uncertainties can leave us estranged from our authentic selves. However, we must never forget the importance of knowing who we really are. Because who we really are is not what's happened to us or the circumstances we find ourselves in. Who we are is not what we have or don't have. It's not what other people say or believe about us. It isn't even necessarily what we think or believe about ourselves.
