The secret place is the place where you meet with God. It begins inside your inner being. John 7:38 says "out of your heart (belly, inner being) will flow rivers of living water." Your inner being is the hidden sanctuary of the heart where you commune with God. The secret place is also the "room" you go into to pray and talk with God. Matthew 6:6 says "Go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."
Today the Lord brought me back to a dream that I had in 1984 just a few days before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In this dream my mother came up to me and said: The reason why you dream of water so often is because you want to go back into my womb and be born again. I didn't understand what that dream meant at the time, but a few weeks later I got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to understand spiritual things. I learned how to hear Jesus' voice through reading His Word. I found that there are countless ways that He speaks. Some of the ways are through dreams, visions, enigmas, metaphors, impressions and parables.
Do you know that God wants you to bear "much fruit?" Can you know what that fruit looks like or is it just a mystery? In a recent dream the Lord spoke to me through a question - then gave me the answer. The question was "WHAT IS THE GOAL?" I started to think about it, and he looked at me saying, "FRUIT! Salvations, miracles and healings!" He then smiled - end of dream. Most are familiar with the fruit of the Spirit, but the fruit of your life is different. Here I go into what that difference looks like and how the fruit of our lives is produced.
We are going to see some major changes take place starting this month that are going to align us for 2022 and beyond! ... to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. Ephesians 3:9 The Lord is going to reveal the mystery about your life purpose and calling and give you the divine ability to bring it into reality. Expect this to start happening now even though you might not realize it. Things are going on behind the scenes and beneath the surface that will open later on. Trust the Lord right now. Even though it doesn't look like it, alignment and new assignments will be happening.
The Lord said, "My body needs to remember it has a spiritual immune system - and use it!" As I began to look at how the Lord designed the physical body's immune system, God began to reveal powerful, spiritual protocols for His body, the church, and how we can remember to activate our spiritual immune system. What strengthens the spiritual immune system?
I had a vision that seemed like a dream, and in it I saw troubled turbulent times, and people had gone into their secret places to pray. (I say it seemed like a dream because I was so still, it was like I was asleep, even though I was awake. Sometimes we have to be really still to receive.) People felt overwhelmed with current events and had gone to their quiet places to pray. The warfare "outside" was tough. It was hard and seemed to be too much for many of them, but they went to the Lord.
A divine shift and the glory of God were released during Hanukkah 5782/2021. Even though the Festival of Lights - Hanukkah - has ended, the glory of the Lord is still illuminating the temple. First Corinthians 3:16-17 (NKJV) says, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." His oil, which was poured out during Hanukkah, lights the fire of the Holy Spirit within you.
Living a life of praise is not only the most enjoyable way to live, but it's also one of the most powerful ways to change your life. Praise isn't like the caboose that just follows what happens, but it's more like the engine of a train that makes things happen. Your faith isn't complete without praise. Colossians 2:7 says that you abound in faith with thanksgiving. No thanksgiving equals not abounding in faith. Praise affects you, it affects the devil, and it affects God. It touches everything and every part of your life. Likewise, a lack of praise affects you in a negative way, turns the devil loose in your life, and doesn't bless God. You have to get this area of your life right.
One of the greatest lessons I've learned is that you can't be both selfish and happy. I know this is true through my own personal experience but more importantly, the Bible has some things to say about the attitude we should have about "self." For example, love is not selfish. In the Amplified Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:5 says love "is not self-seeking." In 1 Corinthians 15:31, the apostle Paul said, "...I die daily [I face death and die to self]," which basically means he was not self-seeking but instead focused on doing what God called him to do with his life.
Emotional wounds strike at the very heart of a person. Even strong and confident people who experience emotional upheaval can find themselves depressed and down in spirit. If you are like most people, you have had a "broken heart" at some time because of grief from the death of a loved one, loss of a pet, or divorce. Betrayal also can attempt to crush and break your spirit. Long before medical science discovered that stress, trauma, and emotional pain affect the physical body, the Bible revealed the connection between the spirit or what we call the "heart" of a person. "A sound heart is the life of the flesh; but envy the rottenness of the bones." (Proverbs 14:30)
