For the past several months we have been experiencing civil unrest and lawlessness in our country on so many levels. Sin is running rampant and in the natural it appears as if the enemy is gaining ground. For those who have spiritual eyes to see understand that we are not fighting a physical battle but a spiritual battle. Some people are being shaken to the core by what is happening, but then there are those who are walking by faith and not by sight. They are tenacious and steadfast in their faith pursuing the plan of God that they have been contending for. They trust in Jesus and are not moved by what they see.
I wrote the following prophetic word last week before the President and First Lady contracted the coronavirus. As you will read in this prophetic word, I had a heads up from the Lord and prior to any of this happening, I heard the Lord on Yom Kippur September 28, to raise up an army to pray for what is coming in October. Four days later COVID-19 hit the White House. Lord we pray for President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and the entire White House staff. We ask for divine healing and full recovery.
This is a warning to those who feel victimized, oppressed or disenfranchised. Be careful what you give your allegiance to and where you put your focus. Your quest for justice is opening the door to seducing spirits. Our culture is screaming at you to voice your pain. If you have felt victimized, you are being told that justice will be only found by pouring out the wrongs you have suffered and the inequalities endured by the sins of others. Whether it's racial discrimination, gender bias, financial disproportion or some other personal disappointment, your constant declaration of injustice is supposed to somehow set you free. Instead, this misguided devotion to your pain is leading you into a trap.
It's time to advance forward into your call, gifting, anointing and destiny. God is saying, "No more delay!" We are in a time where God is catapulting people into their callings and destinies. God has amazing good works for you to do. These good works are an integral part of the destiny God has planned for your life. Many of us carry a sense of destiny, that we are called to be doing something more than what we are doing at the present moment. You feel this way because your life has a purpose greater than your present state or condition. There are greater things God has designed for your life.
When we choose to live a life where controlling and watching everything we say and do is king, the impact of our involvement is automatically limited as our heart and mind begin to fight between them for the supremacy of our beings. Consider an archer. If he is free to shoot his arrows anywhere he wants he will have the whole of his talent (heart) available to him. He will have no future results in his mind and will therefore almost always hit whatever he desires. Now take the same archer and ask him to hit the apple above your head and you immediately put him in a space where the potential of being divided is available to him.
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John 19:30 Beloved, you reign in life through Jesus Christ just by receiving two things from Him: the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness (Rom. 5:17). God's way is not about achieving, but about receiving. But many Christians continue to live based on the world's system of achievement. The world's system of success is built on the twin pillars of self-effort and diligence. The world tells you that the more you do, the harder you work, and the more hours you put in, the more success you will achieve.
Last night the Lord gave me a Scripture that has just stayed with me. It woke me up early this morning. We all know the Millennial scriptures - and see the artistry - of the Isaiah 11 passage: 6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
Psalm 118:23-24 captivates me! I love when I wake in the morning hearing His loving kindness ministering to my heart. I love that we serve a God that has given us the ability to choose, the question is, "What will we choose this day?" Psalm 118:23-24 in the Passion says, "The Lord himself is the one who has done this, and it's so AMAZING, so MARVELOUS to see! 24 This is the day of the Lord that brings GLADNESS and JOY, filling our hearts with glee." Don't you just love this passage of scripture...His promise to you and I!
The Lord recently began to speak to me about the anointing and grace that is on the people of God to build in this season. As the Lord spoke to me about this building season, I sensed strongly that this is an hour for the Nehemiahs to arise! Those who will be courageous and bold enough to build even in difficulty and opposition. God is looking for those who will stand up, just like Nehemiah did and build for the kingdom of God in this critical season!
What are the desires of your heart? Is that something you've allowed yourself to think about before? In this season, it's so important, now more than ever, to tune into what God is speaking to you concerning your destiny, desires, and dreams. He's looking to promote and advance you! Many people today are seeking out their life purpose, and God is revealing this to you in this season. Your life purpose is the very reason you were created. A need for purpose is rooted in our human nature.
