I believe that the condition of the Church is the genuine concern during this global crisis. The location of where we meet corporately is really up for the Lord to direct. We can move a meeting around from one location to another but if the condition doesn't change, it's all the same. So what is the Lord wanting? Is He wanting to take us out of buildings? I hardly think that is the case. In some instances it may happen and may be necessary. Although, I think we need to not look at the circumstantial effects as the purpose. Rather, we need to look at what the Lord is saying in all of this.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life, which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20 As we press deeper into the power of right believing, I want to show you practical ways in which you can be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Right believing is all about renewing your mind and uprooting the wrong beliefs that shape your thinking and behavior.

It is natural for people to respond to situations with "What can I do to deal with this or help to deal with it?" and if we are Christian, to ask God "What do I need to do?" We were told to "Occupy till He comes," so we aren't always just kids waiting to be told what to do, yet we should listen for His Voice! Some have "vivid imaginations" and come up with things that He or others have said. It seems to be a human tendency. Most of us are the result of a reward system in our past where we are rewarded (or not rewarded) for certain behaviors.

I grew up in the Church under a "name it claim it," "fake it until you make it" type of ideology, but I realized that that was keeping a lot of people hurting but just hiding it better. You cannot heal from what you won't acknowledge or are in denial of. It's ok to say "I have depression" AND "I believe God heals." It's ok to say "I am angry" AND "I am blessed." It doesn't have to be either/or. It can be both/and. You can't get right until you get real. We cannot heal from the traumas that we are in denial of. I think many of us have been told "God can't behold sin" or that "sin separates us from God" to the point where we actually believe that God is offended by the messy, explicit, painful, bitter parts of us.

During one of the most traumatic and unexpected times of my life, God spoke only a few words into my heart. These words have lived with me ever since and they have often been what I have focused on when the boat has been rocked by the many storms I have faced thus far. Over the years I have had the opportunity to look deeper and discover what these words really meant when they were first uttered to a young shepherd boy that had gone on to become a King. At the time he was facing an uncertain world around him. By nature, he was a warrior often used to "handling the situation."

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he..." (Proverbs 23:7 KJV) Two years ago when I released what would become the international bestseller The Universe is at Your Command, I found myself inspired by the Holy Spirit to share a revelation of the Kingdom Law of Attraction. Little did I know that the response to the book would be overwhelming, as believers from all across the globe found a new hunger to better understand the truth regarding the Mind of Christ. As I've shared for years, when a man changes his thoughts, he changes his life.

First, my InLight Connection team and I want to say how deeply sad we are for all the losses and trouble people are going through. We're praying for you! The coronavirus is stirring fear in the air right now. Many people across the U.S and around the world are confined to their homes, and it's hard to see an end in sight. But better days are coming! Here's what you can do in the meantime. Set your expectations early that—no matter what kind of curveballs life throws your way—you're going to trust God and keep walking forward in faith.

The Holy Spirit also empowers our spirit to recognize, perceive and know the comings of the Spirit of God and to identify the goings of the Lord's presence. Jacob awoke from his sleep, and said: "Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it" (Genesis 28:16). To change our present state of being, it is essential to take our focus off of what was and that which has hindered and left us unfulfilled or dissatisfied. Jesus asks each person, "Who do you say that I AM?" The convictions you hold about God and yourself in Christ directly determine what you display in life.

Most of us are familiar with the old song "Turn, Turn, Turn" by the Byrds, which is also known as "To everything there is a Season." This song was actually taken from the bible. The book of Ecclesiastes chapter three begins with: To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what was planted but it goes on to say in verse eight that there is a time for war and a time for peace.

This isn't the end of the world, and this isn't something to ignore. That's paraphrasing one of the better commentaries I've listened to, and as end-time "prophets" are starting to chime in, maybe it's a good reminder to examine not only the facts but our own heart in this matter. I sat on my back deck Saturday morning, observing the squirrels and birds going about their business. Jumping from tree to tree, gathering twigs for a nest, collecting food to eat—they're immune from the international worry we are surrounded by.
