Who or WHAT in your life is binding you to your past and preventing you from moving ahead? Those circumstances, friends, failures, voices of shame or memories that we are so bound to as human beings. That's "natural" and real stuff friends. But God wants us to live in the Dimension of a Spiritual life my friends. And that's super-natural. Divine Living! When we turn, when we leave our past behind, (no you don't just ignore it!) It's a daily choice to not dig in the pile of pain, and often-immature places of not knowing how to handle certain situations.Â
The Bible story in Genesis 40:1–23 tells of two individuals who had similar dreams about their jobs in the King's palace on the same night but with two very different interpretations and drastically different outcomes. The Pharaohs of Egypt commanded great power and presence. Their servants' lives often hung in the balance. To simply frown in Pharaoh's presence could result in a death sentence. The King's official cupbearer and baker had offended their master. He was enraged so he summoned the captain of the guard to arrest and confine them to the same prison as Joseph. The captain knew that there was something uniquely special about Joseph. It was evident that the hand of the Lord rested on him.
If you've ever tried to build a fire by simply lighting logs, it didn't take you long to realize it just doesn't work. Aside from throwing gasoline on it, it has to start small—kindling, twigs, sticks—then build. It's easy to get frustrated, especially if the fire is the one thing promising you heat in the near future. We often ignore the process under pressure. We want quick fixes. Instant heat. Roaring flames from nothing. Once the foundation is built, a raging fire will consume just about anything, even wood that's wet. It's a lot easier to maintain than to build, too. We know that's true in most areas of life.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 To be the "substance," it means that something was projected and then the manifestation followed, because it is "evidence." There is good faith and bad faith - faith for evil and faith for good! Faith "alone" is not always just good. There are projections that go each way and witchcraft specializes in the dark side. Whether we like it or not, things are happening on both sides! So our skill has to be on overcoming evil with good and knowing Jesus.
We have been under attack globally with the coronavirus. I have been waiting on the Lord and praying daily over this. On February 25, the Lord showed me the root of the attack and a prayer strategy to break it. "° When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." Isaiah 59:19 NKJV The global attack of the coronavirus is against the global outpouring that is coming to the Earth. Many of the prophets have been releasing prophetic words about a coming global move of God—revival. This is a direct attack against revival. "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV
Have you ever driven through a region and felt a heaviness? Have you walked into a store or a person's home, and it felt dark? I'm sure we've all had encounters where we have felt the negative and the positive, but how do we change the spiritual atmosphere when we are somewhere and we can feel the presence of darkness? Praise changes the atmosphere. Worship changes the atmosphere. The power of our words changes the atmosphere.
This is a season of understanding your destiny and life purpose! But where do you even begin? I've often said that discovering your destiny is like working on a connect-the-dots drawing. When you look at the dots individually, you'll probably have trouble understanding the big picture. But when you connect the dots and step back—suddenly everything makes sense! Plus, God embeds hidden clues about your destiny into your daily life. Here are a few to look out for. All of us—yes, you—have been given a measure of talent. As a prophetic life coach, I've heard a lot of people say things like: "I'm not good at anything." Or, "I have no talent."
Did you know that God wants to bless you with fresh revelation daily? How do we receive this and what is fresh revelation exactly? Fresh revelation is wisdom and insight given to you and I as we, on purpose, position ourselves with earnest expectation, in a quiet place, away from all distractions to simply spend time reading HIs word and seeking Him (Matthew 6:33.) During your quiet times, ask the Lord to fill you with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, to give you insight into the ways and purposes of God for your day. He longs for you and I, on purpose, to set time aside, even if its 5 minutes to just talk to Him, sharing all that is in our heart.
This might *seem* like an article about my hair, but it's NOT. I'm here to discuss the prophetic parable of returning to my natural curls through the Curly Girl Method. The gist of Curly Girl Method (which I shall henceforth refer to as CGM) is that you cut out hair products that contain harmful ingredients because those ingredients prohibit the hair from absorbing what your hair really needs. Those particular chemicals create short-term shine because they coat your hair, but that coating blocks what you need for long-term hair health.
You can live and thrive from a place of supernatural rest, it's God's heart that your New Year be the most FRUITFUL one yet. 2020 is going to be a year where you live out of the overflow of God's presence and abide so deeply in Christ that you are abundantly fruitful in every area of your life. One of the themes the Holy Spirit has highlighted to me is living from a place of SUPERNATURAL REST. When we think of rest we often think of inactivity. And in the natural this may be accurate. But what many of us need is way more than physical rest. We need a deep rest in our soul and inner man.
