When you don't know how to pray is a great time to pray in tongues. Don't you know that is a big reason that God gave us His Holy Spirit? When you don't know how to pray. That happens quite often! At least in my life I've found that to be true. There are so many times that I'm at a loss for words so I just begin to pray in the Spirit. It is so helpful when you can just allow the Holy Spirit to pray through you. That is the place of intercession. It is the place of bridging the gaps. The gaps are when we don't know how to pray. To intercede is to "stand in the place of."
Does your heart long to be closer to God? The good news is that He wants to be closer to you—He loves you so much! In my own life, I've discovered that the way to get closer to Him is to spend time with Him. When I feel out of sorts and disconnected from God, I ask myself, "Are you spending time with Him?" Because that's how we avail ourselves to miracles, how we put ourselves in a position of peace and rest so we can clearly hear His perfect guidance for our life. Putting God first, sitting at His feet, reading His words and listening to His voice gets us closer and closer to Him, and it does us so much good!
Prophetic prayer begins by hearing God's voice in your heart. For me, this comes as flowing words, which just appear. For example, as I was wondering how to pray for a situation in which there was animosity, the following phrase appeared effortlessly within me as a spontaneous, flowing thought: "My peace that surpasses all understanding shall fill their hearts and their minds, their sleep, their dreams, their bedroom, their home and their office." It was clear to me that I was to pray and speak this prophetic reality into the situation.
This last Sunday, while in prayer, I saw this EXACT map (coronavirus red map) in my spirit and the Holy Spirit spoke through me regarding the color red. He said, "Don't look at the map for where the virus has hit, look at it as the Blood of Christ within the land. Tell My people to plead the blood of the lamb over their countries." Saints be in agreement with me. May we humble ourselves and bow down to the Living God! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BOW DOWN TO FEAR! We bow down to the Great I AM.
Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:17–19 Our Lord Jesus sent seventy disciples out against the kingdom of darkness, as "lambs among wolves." Look in today's Scripture at the exchange between the seventy disciples and the Lord Jesus when they returned. My friend, the power and authority our Lord Jesus gave them to operate in is the power and authority we have as believers today!
We all have standards in which we try to live to exude excellence and purity. We also have expectations that we want to see manifested in other people. But what happens when those expectations aren't meant? How do we deal with the downfall or the repetitive behaviors people exhibit that doesn't meet our expectations? I remember years ago, a person in my life not living up to the spiritual walk I desired for them. I am seldom tolerant of a person's lack of spiritual growth and pressing through to their breakthrough.
"Whatever was written beforehand is meant to instruct us in how to live. The Scriptures impart to us encouragement and inspiration so that we can live in hope and endure all things" (Rom. 15:4, TPT). I love this Scripture. God spoke to my heart many years ago, "Teach women today from women of yesterday," and confirmed this word with Romans 15:4. I love the testimonies in the Word of God about the women (and men) who have walked before us.
I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. Hosea 2:15 NLT During April, we are walking through the Valley of Trouble. But there is a Door of Hope as we enter into May. I heard the Lord say, "I am going to turn this difficult time of the Valley of Trouble into a Doorway of Hope that is going to change things forever." In the midst of the difficult times we are going through, I want to impart a word of hope for what is ahead. The Covid-19 (or coronavirus) attack is a storm that is going to blow over soon. This is an attack against the coming moves of God and revival.
Yes, these are the last days and I am doing a mighty work within My church. I am pouring out My abundance of grace this very hour but you must humble yourself and cry out to Me to move in your midst. You must lay hold of the horns of My altar and pray for mercy to be poured out upon those who do not yet know Me. You are My people and I am willing to do a mighty work through you but you must be willing and yielded for Me to do so. Cry out for My abundance of grace to touch your households this hour and stand upon My promise that you and your household shall be saved.
In these days of uncertainty, one thing is certain, God is good & His love endures. God is not worried & He has a Good plan. Many are asking Him What's next?! As I also asked God this question, I was reminded of a vision that I had on 12/22/2012. I realized it was a timeless vision from the One who holds time in His hands. In sharing this, I hope it encourages your hearts. I saw the Bride of Christ standing on the threshold. And I heard the voice of our Heavenly Papa say: "Cross over, make a move, take one Giant step forward in Me. It is time for you to realize who you are in Me and it is time for you to realize who I am in you.
