This is a season of understanding your destiny and life purpose! But where do you even begin? I've often said that discovering your destiny is like working on a connect-the-dots drawing. When you look at the dots individually, you'll probably have trouble understanding the big picture. But when you connect the dots and step back—suddenly everything makes sense! Plus, God embeds hidden clues about your destiny into your daily life. Here are a few to look out for. All of us—yes, you—have been given a measure of talent. As a prophetic life coach, I've heard a lot of people say things like: "I'm not good at anything." Or, "I have no talent."
Did you know that God wants to bless you with fresh revelation daily? How do we receive this and what is fresh revelation exactly? Fresh revelation is wisdom and insight given to you and I as we, on purpose, position ourselves with earnest expectation, in a quiet place, away from all distractions to simply spend time reading HIs word and seeking Him (Matthew 6:33.) During your quiet times, ask the Lord to fill you with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, to give you insight into the ways and purposes of God for your day. He longs for you and I, on purpose, to set time aside, even if its 5 minutes to just talk to Him, sharing all that is in our heart.
This might *seem* like an article about my hair, but it's NOT. I'm here to discuss the prophetic parable of returning to my natural curls through the Curly Girl Method. The gist of Curly Girl Method (which I shall henceforth refer to as CGM) is that you cut out hair products that contain harmful ingredients because those ingredients prohibit the hair from absorbing what your hair really needs. Those particular chemicals create short-term shine because they coat your hair, but that coating blocks what you need for long-term hair health.
You can live and thrive from a place of supernatural rest, it's God's heart that your New Year be the most FRUITFUL one yet. 2020 is going to be a year where you live out of the overflow of God's presence and abide so deeply in Christ that you are abundantly fruitful in every area of your life. One of the themes the Holy Spirit has highlighted to me is living from a place of SUPERNATURAL REST. When we think of rest we often think of inactivity. And in the natural this may be accurate. But what many of us need is way more than physical rest. We need a deep rest in our soul and inner man.
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7:11 Our enemy the devil is well aware that the moment you learn to receive God's grace, you will start to reign in life. So he has been working hard to prevent you from receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. The devil has been using controversy as a device down through church history to prevent believers from having access to the most powerful truths of God.
As you continue to press in seeking My perfect will for your life you will run into many circumstances sent by the evil one to deter you to get you off track so that you will lose focus on that which is most important in your life and that is to know Me and know Me more intimately, to commune with Me as a way of life and not just when you are in desperate need. You are to have a heart of desperation just to know Me because you love Me and want to seek My face.
I know that everyone is talking about the Super Bowl right now, and the number 50! There's something powerful about the number 50. It has been 50 years since the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. Whether you like JLo or not, she performed in the Super Bowl at 50. The number 50 can mean jubilee, reconciliation, and freedom. I was not thinking of any of this when I happened to open my Bible to Psalm 50. And I believe Psalm 50 has some keys for us. Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him. Psalm 50:3
There are a lot of things stirring in the spirit realm. The Holy Spirit is beginning to move across the nations. We are going to see more revival meetings in stadiums filled with people worshipping Jesus because they are hungry for God. This is why the enemy has been trying to discourage and disrupt the lives of believers. He has been trying to silence those who have a prophetic voice, and trying to bring discord and division among the body of Christ. We are coming into a time when prophets will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit with precision, and release it with accuracy just as the prophets of old.
Habakkuk 2:14 "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the seas." 2020 is going to be an amazing year of great opportunities for the Kingdom of God. There will be an exponential increase in the glory of God for those who pursue it. Isaiah 56:7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Be intentional in focusing on God's glory knowing that you play an intimate role in ushering the glory into the earth – even through your worship, intercession and engagement in activities related to spreading the light of His Presence to people. Don't underestimate the power of just affecting one life. Many focus on the multitude then while waiting miss the opportunity set before them. Make it your aim that wherever you are you will be a conduit of the glory of His Presence.
Get ready to come out of the dry time and the storm of 2019! How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness! Even when their paths wind through the dark valley of tears, they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring. They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion. Psalm 84:5–7 TPT Welcome to a new season of a radical outpouring starting this month. The dark valleys of tears and uncertainty are coming to an end. God is bringing a new season of refreshment. As you step away from pain and disappointments, you will find a surprising refreshment spiritually, physically and mentally.
